Sometimes adding annotations to your PDF documents isn't enough and you want to add images to your presentations, university assignments and work reports.

With Drawboard PDF you can add additional context to your drawings by adding JPEG or PNG files.

Drawboard PDF allows you to insert images from:

• Your device's file browser
• Directly with the device camera
• From the clipboard

Insert images from your local PC file browser

1. Click Create New Tool ('+') at the bottom of the favorites menu
2. Select the Insert category
3. Click on the Image from File tool.
4. A file explorer pop-up will appear. Select the image you want to insert
5. Click Open and the image will appear on your PDF document

Insert from device camera

If your device has an inbuilt camera you can take a photo to insert in to your PDF documents.

1. Select the Insert From Camera tool
2. Navigate to the section of the document where you would like to insert the image
3. Click on the document and a camera window will appear
4. Press the camera button to take a photo and then crop the image until you're satisfied
5. Press Done and the photo will appear on your PDF
6. Resize and move as necessary.

Insert from clipboard

If you have an image on your clipboard, you can insert it directly into your PDFs.

1. Copy the image to the device clipboard (for example from your web browser)
2. Navigate to Drawboard PDF and use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+V to paste
3. The image will now be on your PDF

Moving the image

If you want to move the image to a different location you can:

1. Select the image using the Pan or Select tool
2. Drag the image to the desired location
